Man
walks in a straight line because he has a goal and knows where
he is going; he has made up his mind to reach some particular
place and he goes straight to it.
~ Le Corbusier
In an attempt to
challenge some of the fallacies of the Corbusian essentialist
ideology, this development explores the subtle breakdown of
the ordered harmony of space. This emergent non-rational architecture
does not follow the path of the perfect line. Rather, it is
based on a loosely connected, fragmented space with punctured,
varied volumes in an attempt to evoke exchanges of light,
color and shadow.
