What is a healthy home?  There is no one answer to this question. My healthy home may look quite different from yours and we may have completely different criteria however the goals would be the same.

We believe that there is a place for setting new standards in residential housing solutions for both existing and newly built homes. We want to inform you of your choices and stay engaged with you during your entire cycle of ownership.

Generally, the goal of our Healthy Homes Chicago Initiative is to educate the community about some of the most important and easily made changes that can be made to a home while improving the overall health and well-being of its occupants. We are also engaging builders and contractors who would like to implement these same principles in their developments.

We believe on any count, a healthier home designed, renovated, improved or built on our Healthy Homes Chicago Principles will be a more desirable place to live and a more marketable home than a home not integrating even the simplest of these principles. Recent sales data  in California shows homes with these healthier ‘green’ solutions are selling for almost 10% more than those without.

It can seem overwhelming....where do I start or what comes first?

We will help guide you with advice and input so you can make an informed decision and become aware of your own self-defined vision of what a healthy home is.

Our mission at Healthy Homes Chicago is to encourage, educate and engage homeowner's towards these new healthy and sustainable homes concepts and educate them on how to make decisions to implement them into their homes. We hope to assist you on their journey and hope to create a long term relationship with you and to eventually become the sales and marketing team you choose to successfully market and sell your home. Who would be better? But that comes later.
