Jim Gramata

Jim is in his twentieth year of residential real estate sales, marketing and development. He has been active in the sales and marketing consultation for private and corporate transactions including property and development branding, marketing, sales and negotiations. He is constantly keeping up with the latest trends and improvements in an effort to improve his skills in real estate development, sales and marketing. He graduated Cum Laude with a Masters of Architecture degree from The University of Illinois Chicago which is an added skill set for each of his buyer, seller, investor or development clients. He has owned and managed a design/build company since 1991 with a focus on residential real estate in Chicago and the neighboring suburbs. Since 2005, Jim has focused his business mission to build a successful and award-winning real estate consulting business in the formation of the Gramata Realty Group and has proudly joined forces with Chicago's leading real estate company, @properties because of its shared vision and devotion to quality service and professionalism.

Tiffany Taylor

I am a well rounded professional who entered the real estate industry in 2005.

Tiffany has the passion for all she does including strong communication and negotiation skills that makes the difference for her clients. With her great attention to detail and a drive for results, she is able to provide high-quality service in all aspects of residential real estate.

Prior to entering the world of real estate, Tiffany’s background includes public safety and administration that measures over 13 years, including 8 years working as an assistant to U.S. government executives.

Tiffany currently serves as a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Chicago Association of Realtors.

As a proud native of Chicago, everyday Tiffany gains a greater appreciation of what the city has to offer and in her spare time enjoys the outdoors, playing volleyball and spending time with her two daughters.

Hillary Deck

Hillary came to @properties with a passion to help people find their dream home in Chicago. Her real estate expertise is complimented by her previous experience as a mortgage consultant and public relations executive.

She knows the city and its diverse neighborhoods. She is able to help clients understand the market and what their money will buy so that they can easily compare and contrast their options.

When listing a home, Hillary helps her clients to understand how a buyer wants to see a property so it shows better than the competition. Her eye for interior design allows her to stage properties so that buyers develop an emotional connection to the property and can easily envision themselves living in the home. She manages her time well and is always sure to make each showing stress free for the buyer and their agent. Once the showing is complete, she is diligent in getting feedback from the buyer’s agent that can aid in getting the home sold.

Hillary develops trust using an honest approach, working hard work to make every client’s dream of owning a home come true. She listens to her clients and always puts them first. When working with Hillary, either as a buyer or seller, you can count on her to represent your interests and coach you through the process, making it as smooth as possible.

Roger Almanza

Being born and raised in Chicago, Roger Almanza has seen the many transformations in Chicago's neighborhoods. Roger was raised in Bucktown and lived in Wicker Park, Irving Park, Albany Park, and now resides in the Dunning area. Roger, a Chicago native, is familiar with the diversity the city has to offer in its neighborhoods, properties and people.

Joining the @properties team in 2008, Roger Almanza brings more than 8 years experience in the mortgage and real estate industry. Spending the last three years investing in real estate, property management and renovation, Roger understands the needs and desires of potential home owners and real estate investors. Roger's vast knowledge of the real estate and mortgage industry allows him to assist everyone from the first time homebuyer to the seasoned investor.

When not assisting home buyers and sellers, Roger can be found at North Avenue Beach playing various intramural sports like volleyball, basketball and attending festivities throughout Chicago.

Tiffany Vondran

The best part of my job is meeting new people and helping them achieve their goals. Whether buying or selling, I am excited to be able to put my legal knowledge and customer service skills together to help my clients find the perfect home.

Tiffany Vondran joined @properties in January 2008. Prior to joining @properties, Tiffany was a Real Estate Paralegal where she gained expertise in the real estate process from contract to closing. She has experience reviewing contracts, clearing up title matters, preparing closing documents, and attending closings. She has excellent skills in dealing with clients, agents, attorneys and lenders to ensure a smooth and successful real estate transaction.

Prior to entering the real estate field, Tiffany worked as a claims customer service representative for Metlife Auto & Home Insurance Company. She received numerous awards for excellent customer service.

She grew up in Freeport and is a graduate of Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a Bachelors Degree in Paralegal Studies/Pre-Law. While in college, she was a volunteer Paralegal Mentor and was also a member of three organizations within her major. She also received two scholarships.

Tiffany enjoys traveling, physical fitness, outdoor activities and different events the city has to offer.

Karey Walker

Chicago is a dynamic market with interesting neighborhoods and notable architecture. Selling real estate in the nation’s third largest city is exciting. I have been helping my clients sell homes, purchase homes and make investments in the city since 2004. During that time the market has changed dramatically. Finding new opportunities in the market, having strategies that work given current constraints, pulling a deal together and having a positive outcome…working with happy clients has been thrilling.

Before real estate I consulted to a variety of performing arts organizations across North America. I was based in Toronto for a while, then the Detroit area. The work was interesting, challenging and fulfilling. I worked with marketing and fundraising directors to fill symphony halls and raise revenue. My background is in public relations, marketing and economics.

Mak Jahangiri

Mak Jahangiri is an agent who knows real estate from the ground up—literally! He has a bachelor’s degree in structural engineering!

Mak has been a real estate professional for over 22 years, specializing in single-family homes, condominiums and apartment buildings. He is an active member of the Chicago association of realtors, the Lincoln Square Chamber of Commerce and the Rogers Park Building Group.

Mak also knows real estate from the top. He has been the #1 agent in Rogers Park three years in a row, Multi-Million Sales Person and is in the top 5% of sales agent on the Chicagoland area.
